Happy Pest Control started in northern California about 15 years ago. When they set up thier second office in San Diego, Happy had very lackluster results with thier paper advertising mediums. They tried advertising in every yellow pages in San Diego. In conjunction with thier advertising campaigns in the yellow pages; Happy ran door to door brochures, direct mailers, business to business meeting groups, radio, and newspaper specials. Happy had even hired other "search engine experts." Nothing worked.
We built Happy Pest Control a simple, yet efficient php website using thier company logo and color theme from thier existing, older site. We then focused our efforts on eliminating the competition. Currently;
Website traffic has gone up 6000%
Website traffic is converting to actual sales calls at a rate of roughly 12.5%
Incoming calls are converting at a rate of 70%
Happy Pest Control has since pulled all other forms of advertising.
Since November 2007, Happy Pest Control has added over 300 clients in thier slow season.
With the hot season approaching; Happy tells us they're safely projecting 300-375 new clients in the next 4 months.

Chico Web Design has been creating some of California's best looking web pages for over 7 years. Chico Web Design has done very well locally, but contacted us about working on a larger scale. The inital problem with Chico's website is that it has very little textual content and therefore relies heavily on outside links. Due to the lack of text thier title tags were only geared towards their company name. We've been working with them to modify those aspects and other various points as well. Currently Chico Web Design is seeing more and more of their traffic from California based web searches. We should probably also mention Chico web design has only been with us for a few weeks!
California based terms are registering far more search traffic
"California Web Design" was the main target phrase, which has moved from the sixth page on Google to the first page on Google in three weeks!
